Laura Hernández is a Senior Associate Attorney based in the Houston office of Kennard Hernández, P.C.

Ms. Hernández attended Cornell University where she received her undergraduate degree in American Studies. She went on to receive a master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Chicago before graduating from UCLA School of Law.

Ms. Hernández specialized in Critical Race Studies at UCLA, a program dedicated to the study of the intersection of race and law.

Ms. Hernández began her legal career at TB Robinson Law Group, PLLC where she exclusively handled plaintiffs labor and employment matters. She has experience representing individuals in discrimination cases, wrongful termination suits, wage and hour, and individual and collective actions arising out of the employment relationship. She has handled cases arising under Title VII, the ADA, the FLSA, the FMLA, the TCHRA, ERISA, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and various other statutory and common law causes of action.
